Pilkington UK and the Morgan Sindall Group will advance sustainable solutions for architectural glass applications.
Under a strategic trading agreement, Pilkington UK will supply Morgan Sindall with its architectural glass.
The glass is used for energy efficiency, solar control and fire safety in residential and commercial buildings.
The glass manufacturer will also look to supply products from its Pilkington Mirai Range, which have a lower embodied carbon than standard float glass.
Morgan Sindall will also help create circular economies with Pilkington UK via its renew:glass scheme, which enables glass removed from buildings to be recycled as part of the glass manufacturing process.
Bea Roberts, Specification Manager at Pilkington UK, said: “The construction industry is evolving rapidly, with sustainability at the forefront of every major project, and this collaboration allows us to play an integral role in that transition.
“Our combined efforts will enable us to address complex challenges around energy efficiency, safety, and environmental impact, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed the growing demands of modern construction.”
Pilkington UK will also support Morgan Sindall design teams and architects with technical training.
