Pilkington’s coater at its Cowley Hill, UK site has reached a milestone It has produced more than two and a half million square metres of its K Glass S for customers in the UK.
As the UK’s first jumbo off-line coating plant, Cowley Hill allows the NSG Group to manufacture a wider range of such products in the UK.
It enables ultra-thin special coatings to be applied to glass, creating a range of energy-saving and solar control glazing.
Pilkington’s K Glass S was launched in October 2011 and customers now benefit from more energy-efficient glass solutions.
