Piramal Glass wins gold at the NCE awards

Piramal Glass Ceylon PLC (PGC), a glass container manufacturer, has recently won its fourth consecutive Gold in the Large Industry (Ceramics) category at the National Chamber of Exporters awards ceremony, held in Sri Lanka.

In addition to this, for the first time at NCE Awards, PGC was also recognised as the overall winner of the ‘Most Outstanding Exporter’ in the Industry sector.

PGC is a member of the Piramal Group with production facilities located in India and USA as well as Sri Lanka. PGC with a history of over five decades in Sri Lanka, started focusing its attention on export markets with the establishment of a 250M tonnes/day production facility in Horana.

The NCA awards are designed to recognise and encourage the performance of Sri Lankan exporters.
