Pneumofore presented its solutions for the supply of centralised vacuum pumps and compressed air in glass production at glasstec in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The manufacturer showcased the benefits of its Rotary Vane machines. This included the UV50 vacuum pump, which is one of the most appreciated vacuum pumps in the global glass industry.

It also includes the world’s largest air-cooled vacuum pump, the UV100, which delivers up to 6.480m3/h, and the A Series air compressors with up to 250kW nominal power and pressures from 2.5 to 10 bar(g).

The Rotary Vane technology is designed for the supply of vacuum and compressed air in glass production. The machines are built to last and designed to operate trouble-free for decades, even in extreme conditions and harsh environments.

The Rotary Vane Air-End has no consumable vanes and ensures no transmission losses or overhauling. The high quality and sturdy design meets the market’s demand for constant performance over time and a low operational cost.

Its units are completed by special options, including Variable Speed and Hot Climate. The operational costs are reduced further by its total OEM independence against the binding equipment legacy of other manufacturers.

Every installation includes system engineering and pipeline calculations for further benefits in terms of performance and energy savings.
