Press Glass has been granted the certificate issued by American organisations IGCC/IGMA, confirming the quality and durability of its glass.
The certificate confirms that glass manufactured by Press Glass meets the requirements of IGCC/IGMA standards, including ASTM E2190.
The Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC), established in 1977, is an independent non-profit organisation.
It deals with issuance of certificates for products made of insulation glass.
The organisation works in close partnership with Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA).
Together these organisations run a programme, which issues the ‘Insulating Glass Standard’ (ASTM E2190).
The manufacturer hopes that the certificate should improve its standing with its European business partners who export (or intend to export) their products to the US.
