Produvisa and Revimac re-engineer line at Venezuelan plant

The old O-I IS Machine was renovated in partnership with Revimac,

Produvisa and Revimac joined forces to re-engineer line 7.0 at Produvisa’s plant in Aragua, Venezuela.

Productos de Vidrios, the leading company of glass containers in Venezuela, successfully improved the production of line 7.0 as part of the company’s growth strategy.

The old Owens Illinois (O-I) IS Machine was renovated in close partnership with Revimac, a supplier of hollow glass forming machinery and allied ancillary equipment.

Parts of machine were replaced with new re-engineered parts, such as: mold open and close mechanisms, invert mechanisms, take out mechanisms, and the whole constant cushion & Lincoln system, including the automatic pump.

Through co-operation between Produvisa and Revimac teams, line 7.0 has been given a new lease of life and is running at full production.
