Saint-Gobain sells part of its German glass processing business

Saint-Gobain has sold its Glassolutions Objekt-Center in Germany, a specialist centre for glass processing operations to the German privately owned AEQUITA group based in Munich.

The sale consists of two sites in Döring Berlin and Radeburg, which employs a total of almost 200 people and generated €20 million in sales in 2020.

AEQUITA already purchased the operations of Glassolutions in the Netherlands in 2019.

This transaction is said to be part of Saint-Gobain’s continued portfolio optimisation strategy to enhance the group’s growth and profitability profile
