Zippe will install a batch plant with an extensive silo system for Schott Glass India in Jambusar.
The tubing site will be installed at the same location as the plant delivered by Zippe in 2000.
The batch plant will supply several furnaces on site and include a large silo system, consisting of raw material and cullet silos.
The raw materials will be weighed with a complex dosing and weighing system that has several scales corresponding to each formula.
High performance mixers will also be installed in the mixing plant to achieve the best possible component distribution.
Zippe will supply basic engineering, project management, detailed engineering of the building installation, delivery of the process equipment as well as supervision, commissioning support and detailed training of the operating personnel.
Schott will provide the silo plant, the buildings as well as installation works locally.
The commission is planned for 2023.
