Schott Solar has reported an increase in sales of photovoltaic (PV) modules for the fourth consecutive year.
In addition, the company announced progress towards putting its newly developed high-efficiency technologies to use in market-ready products. Nevertheless, the solar industry still faces severe price pressures and considerable overcapacities, according to reports.
“Schott Solar will be able to assert itself as a quality brand, even in a challenging market environment. Nevertheless, we must now establish the prerequisites that will allow us to remain a strong player in the solar market,” said Dr Martin Heming, Chief Executive Officer, Schott Solar.
