The Society of Glass Technology has organised an extensive programme of events for 2016, to celebrate its 100 year anniversary.
The programme of events includes SGT’s Training Day on the 8th June and the Furnace Solutions conference on the 9th June, held at the Lucideon in Stoke on Trent, UK.
For 2016 Furnace Solutions is also holding an extra conference on the 8th September, to coincide with the main SGT centenary celebrations.
The event will be held at the University of Sheffield, and will be part of the Glass Trend series of meetings.
From the 4th-8th September the SGT will be marking its 100 year anniversary with a range of events held at Sheffield University, including the European Society of Glass’ Annual Meeting, and a dinner held at Sheffield City Cathedral.
The theme of the celebrations is ‘Celebrating the past while looking ahead to the future’.
