Socabelec has installed a photovoltaic (PV) system at its site in Namur, Belgium.

Socabelec is an industrial automation and robotics company that serves the glass container sector.

D&B Green Solution engineers designed a PV installation to assist Socabelec in its transition towards renewable energy.

The solar plant has 210 panels, spanning approximately 400 m2 in total, and a total power of 93.45 kWp.

D&B Green Solution assembled the solar panels, and the electrical installation created by Eco-Energy.

The Walloon Region, through Wallonie Entreprendre, financially supported the project.

Socabelec said: “The investment in this solar power plant is one more step towards being carbon neutral.”
