Sorg appoints Sebastian Woltz as Sales Manager

German glass engineering group Nikolaus Sorg has appointed Dr Sebastian Woltz as Sales Manager.

Dr Woltz will take up his new role on January 1^st 2025, replacing Alexander Sorg, who is currently holding the position on an interim basis.

Dr Woltz will be replaced in his current role as Head of Sales at EME, a position he has held since 2018, by Thorsten Christ.

EME, part of the Sorg Group, is a supplier of batch and cullet handling technology.

Mr Christ joined EME in July 1^st 2024.

He has experience in glass production, including sales and project planning for batch and cullet processing systems.

The management of Sorg Group are delighted to be appointing Dr Woltz to this position and thank him for his commitment to EME over the past six years.

It continued that these two sales management roles would strengthen the position of the Sorg Group in the international marketplace.
