Speakers have been announced for the annual Glass Focus 2019 at the Mercure St Paul’s hotel in Sheffield, home of British Glass.
The event, which takes place on Thursday 21st November 2019, has a full daytime programme of speakers, networking and discussions, followed by an evening gala awards dinner.
Speakers this year include Phoenix Award winner Professor Alicia Durán, Chair of Glass Futures Brian McMillan and Andy Williams, Manufacturing Lead of Confederation of British Industry (CBI).
Alongside those, members from host British Glass and Glass Technology Services will also speak.
The award ceremony also takes place during Glass Focus. This year’s categories include:
• Design of the year – container
• Design of the year - flat
• Innovative solution
• Health and safety action
• Sustainable practice
• Apprentice of the year
• Strengthening business through people
Tickets are priced at £195 for British Glass members and £249 for non-members. This includes both conference attendance and a place at the black-tie awards dinner.
