Stölzle Glass Group has designed the cobalt blue decanter for Haig Club whisky bottle.
As is known among glass experts, the shaping of the deep blue glass in automatic production was a challenge due to the chemical ingredients involved.
However, Stölzle’s UK production site in Yorkshire proved its expertise and successfully launched Haig Club in the UK.
The single grain scotch whisky was endorsed by David Beckham in 2014 in cooperation with the drinks company Diageo, at Cameronbridge Distillery - the oldest grain distillery in Scotland.
Haig Club is built on nearly 400 years of distilling heritage and the House of Haig can trace its whisky producing roots back to the 17th century.
Stölzle Glass Group has six European production sites and for both custom-designed and standard glass containers for the perfumery and cosmetics, prestige spirits and healthcare and consumer sectors.
