For the second time in a row, the Stoelzle Glass Group has achieved gold status in the EcoVadis rating.

It said it was proud to belong to the top 5% of all evaluated companies.

It missed the highest award by a few points which is the platinum status.

The Stoelzle team sees this as an incentive for 2023, and will continue with full commitment to implement further CSR initiatives.

So far, the corporate CSR strategy has been focusing on the group wide energy data management system, the expansion of an energy and environmental management system to all plants of the glass group, regular ethical audits, as well as the ISO 45001 certification for occupational safety and health management.

Another cornerstone is the group-wide CO2 reduction strategy, which aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

Since its foundation in 2007, EcoVadis has become an important provider of global sustainability ratings.

The evaluation of the submissions is based on standards such as GRI, UN Global Compact and ISO 26000 and not only makes the sustainability activities of companies measurable, but also creates transparency and trust.

The EcoVadis assessment covers the four cornerstones of sustainability: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable reporting.
