Taiwan Glass has announced it is entering into a joint venture with Teco Group, an industrial motors and household electronics maker based in Taiwan, to produce vacuum glass at the Changhua Coastal Industrial Park, Taiwan.
The venture will cost approximately NT$300 million and Taiwan Glass will hold a 65% share, while Teco Group will hold the remainder. The facility is expected to commence mass production in the fourth quarter of 2012.
