The All India Glass Manufacturers’ Federation met on December 2nd to honour Mr. C.K. Somany on winning the Phoenix Award earlier this year.
The group considers Mr. Somany’s achievement to be one of the most significant feats for the Indian glass industry in 2013.
Mr. C K Somany received the 43rd Annual Phoenix Award at Berlin, Germany, for his major contributions to the glass industry in the fields of science, production and education.
On December 2nd, the special function to congratulate Mr. Somany Non-Executive Chairman, HNG Group, was organised by AIGMF in association with La Opala RG Ltd., at the Bengal Club.
Roughly 100 people from the glass industry, the CGCRI, and visiting members of the International Commission on Glass attended the event.
