A trio of annealing lehr companies have confirmed their participation at the Glassman Europe exhibition.
Italian groups Antonini and Car-Met as well as Portuguese company Vidromecanica have all secured exhibition booths at the event which takes place on September 6 and 7 in Lyon, France.
Antonini was founded in Empoli in 1946 by Fosco Antonini and specialises in the manufacturing of annealing and decorating lehrs for the global hollow glass industry.
Car-Met’s story began in 1965 and todasy it makes annealing and decorating lehrs as well as toughening lines, stackers, scrapers, cross conveyors and Mould pre-heating ovens.
As well as making annealing lehrs Vidromecanica is dedicated to the production of equipment for the glass industry.
It manufactures and develops various equipment such as annealing and decorating kilns, tempering lines, moulds pre-heating kilns, stackers and cross-conveyors, and recycling equipment such as cullet crushers and scraper conveyors.
The free-to-attend Glassman Europe event includes an exhibition dedicated to hollow glass manufcaturing and two conferences: one devoted to Industry 4.0 in Glassmaking and the other is titled Trends in Glassmaking.
