Turkish group in German plan

Turkish glassmaker Trakya Cam wants to buy German group Fritz Holding.

The pair have signed a memorandum of understanding to buy Fritz Holding, which makes glass coating and molded parts for the automotive industry.

Trakya Cam said it planned to expand its capacity and develop its products in the automotive glass business by making the acquisition.

Fritz Holding operates four plants - two in Germany, one in Hungary and one in Slovakia in the glass coating industry and provides its products to auto producers including Audi, Mercedes and BMW.
