Vidrala closed 2010 with ‘record’ sales and profits, with forecasts for 2011 pointing to a further increase in business.
The increase is expected through the company’s presence in foreign markets, which started in 2003 with the purchase of production facilities in Portugal, Italy and Belgium.
Vidrala has six plants in four countries, producing over 3500 million glass containers for food products and beverages that meet the needs of approximately 1500 clients.
The company increased its turnover by 6% to total €405.9 million, while net profit reached a record high of €49.6 million, 21% more than in 2009.
