China Glass 2018 will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on April 19-22 in Shanghai, China.

The 29th edition of the international glass trade show will showcase the innovative achievements, demands and trends of local and overseas businesses from the industry.

China’s goals for 2018 will be to implement the 13th five-year plan, the 40th anniversary of the rural reform and the 19th national congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The glass industry is set to experience a moderate, stable and sound growth in 2018.

China Glass 2018 will attract more than 30,000 visitors from more than 70 nations and regions, including Israel, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. 865 businesses have confirmed their booths, including 612 domestic and 253 overseas companies.

At this year’s exhibition, companies will showcase the latest glass products and technologies.

The China Building Materials Academy will display its products such as flame proof glass, quartz glass, special glass, vacuum glass, the core material of night-vision equipment and the coating material of solar thermal components.

North Glass will display large glass production, including a glass-tempering furnace, an automatic glass process production line with cutting and storage, and a preprocessing system for automobile glass and silkscreen printing.

LiSEC will display an Insulating Glass Production Line, CNC Milling/Drilling centre, SprintCut and aeroflat tempering equipment.

Glaston will showcase an Online Glass Quality Measuring and Anisotropy Scanning System.

Champion Union Diamond Company will bring us High Speed Diamond Wheels.

Finally, China Liaoning North Glass will showcase its laminated glass production line and Autoclave.

There will be several technical seminars and product promotion meetings over the four-day exhibition.

Topics include heat resistant separation materials, Infrared high radiation energy-saving coatings, Cloud intelligent manufacturing and industrial robot for glass production, energy saving technology for glass furnaces, new materials and coating application, as well as new products for the glass-printing field.

China Glass will continue to aim to reduce excessive production capacity, promote structural reform of the supply side, support technical exchanges of the glass community and help domestic and foreign manufacturers to expand markets and promote international economic trade.
