UK glass packaging company Croxsons has supplied Bristol based distiller, 6 O’Clock Gin, with a black bottle for its first limited edition gin product, the Brunel Edition.

The Brunel Edition is the first limited edition gin for 6 O’Clock Gin and is also its first new London Dry Gin. The Brunel Edition is in recognition of the industrial revolutionary, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Croxsons supplied the same bottle shape as used for 6 O’Clock Gin but in a black version to create a distinctive, clean and elegant look, providing a perfect backdrop for the intricate copper label designed by Green Chameleon of Bristol.

Croxsons’ Tim Croxson said; “We have been supplying 6 O’Clock Gin with its distinctive blue bottles since they repackaged and rebranded two years ago, however the black Brunel bottle really is quite a unique project. We are seeing lots of customers looking to differentiate and to release super-premium editions.

"6 O’Clock Gin’s limited edition bottle has broken away from convention particularly with the addition of the simple yet striking copper label, proving that sometimes less is more.”
