Italy’s Glass Service has developed and improved its solutions for the combustion of refiners and forehearths.

The skids are designed and produced in Glass Service’s workshop in Italy according to the highest European standard ATEX, SIL2, PED.

The skids can be installed in an ATEX II zone usually requested from the new forehearth area installation.

To increase the air/gas flow control and ratio stability, Glass Service has introduced several new solutions in the mixing and dosing system.

It has also developed a new design for the couple venturi/zero governor, which was tested at one of the largest manufacturers in the glass container industry.

The air/gas ratio stability in the forehearth is one of the most important parameters for glass production efficiency. Glass Service said its new combustion solutions can achieve the best performance available on the market.
