The Pantone colour of the year for 2017 has been named as ‘Greenery’.
The colour is evocative of spring and nature, and OmniDecor has interpreted the trend with two new DecorOpal shades: Grass and Avocado (pictured).
These two colours join the existing DecorOpal colour chart, which includes neutral brilliant, deep, pastel and metallic colors.
DecorOpal is OmniDecor’s range of colored glass that is suitable for different applications in architecture, interior design, furniture and contract.
With a glossy or satin etched surface, the glass sheets are backpainted with organic water-based colours.
Thanks to this feature, unlike other coloured materials DecorOpal does not release VOCs or other polluting substances into the atmosphere.
The two new shades are therefore green in colour and environmental credentials.
The DecorOpal Safety version is also available, as a colourless film applied on the back of the glass sheet that makes the product compliant with safety standards, thus avoiding the tempering process.
