One week until Asian glassmaking conference

  

There is just one week to go before the Glassman Asia glassmaking conference takes place in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Specialist equipment suppliers will discuss some of the latest techniques and technologies used in the glassmaking process.

Speakers include Paneratech’s Satoshi Okura, who will discuss the Smartmelter: A new industry standard in Furnace Health Management.

Pyrotek’s Brendt Halliday, will talk about Materials for Faster Forming and Handling.

Masaki Watanabe, of AGC Ceramics, will highlight the group’s Eco-Lead furnace concept while Gary Elliot, of Durr Systems, will talk about Clean Technology Systems.

Andy Reynolds, of Fives Stein will begin proceedings with a paper titled Electric Melting and its application to Container Glass.

He will be followed by Rene Meuleman, of Eurotherm by Schneider Electric, who will talk about The Only Future for Glass is all Electric.

Pneumofore’s President, Daniel Hilfiker, will provide a paper titled Efficiency Criteria for long-term Energy Savings.

The conference takes place on January 30 at the JI Expo Centre, Jakarta, Indonesia. It is held within the Glassman Asia exhibition at the same venue, which takes place on January 30 and 31.

Exhibitors include Iris Inspection machines, Zippe, BDF Industries, Emmeti, Sorg, Horn, Glass Service of the Czech Republic, PSR and Motim.
