Poland’s Press Glass is to build another production facility.

The 20,000m2 facility will be constructed in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone in the municipality of Nowogard in the West Pomeranian Province of Poland.

The company bought a plot of 6 hectares of land on 5 December 2017 for the purpose.

The site will be Press Glass’s 12th manufacturing facility and production will start in the second half of 2018. The facility will increase its production capacity and employment in several stages.

As a target, 300 persons will be employed in Nowogard. The facility will expand the potential to service manufacturers of window and door joinery in Poland and other countries in Northern and Western Europe.

Nowogard proved to be the best location for the company. The decision was influenced by its geographical location, transportation infrastructure and technical infrastructure of the zone as well as previous cooperation with the local authorities and the management of the economic zone.

The core business of Press Glass is the processing flat glass for construction. The products offered by the group can be found in the markets of a majority of European countries as well as in North America and Asia.
