The glass market is benefitting from good performance within the wine industry, according to a recent report.
The report, published by glassonline.com, states that the glass industry is expected to grow 10% in 2010 in line with the rise in exports. Companies anticipate a 10% increase in demand, mainly from the wine business.
During the first four months of 2010, says the report, Argentinean exports increased by 20%, with the main destination for its wine being the USA, Canada, The Netherlands, the UK
and Brazil.
Despite a drop to fifth place, Brazil saw the best performance with a 53% increase in value, followed by Canada with 35%.
