Viwat Supatham, Chairman of the Asean Federation of Glass Manufacturers (AFGM), will provide the welcome speech at a conference devoted to Industry 4.0 in glassmaking.
Mr Supatham is also Chairman of the Glass Manufacturers Industry Club at the Federation of Thai Industries (GMFTI) as well as General Manager at Siam Glass in Bangkok, Thailand.
He will provide the welcome speech to the Future Glass Forum, a free-to-attend conference dedicated to how digital glassmaking can improve the manufacturing process.
Mr Supatham will speak at 11am on Wednesday, January 24 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC).
Other speakers at the two-day conference include technology partners such as Siemens, cm.project.ing, Heye International and Glass Service on day one.
Day two will include presentations from Xpar Vision, Iris Inspection machines, AGC Ceramics and PaneraTech.
The latest company to be included in the conference line-up is Italy’s Bottero. Its R&D Manager, Fabio Galliano will provide a presentation titled Managing the Glass Manufacturing Process on Thursday January 25th.
