Videos of all sessions from the Glassman Europe 2023 conference are now available.
The two-day conference took place on February 8 and 9 at the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Convention & Exhibition Centre (ICEC) in Istanbul, Turkey.
The morning of Day 1 focused on the Turkish glass industry, with keynote sessions from Şişecam and Park Cam on topics including sustainable glass manufacturing, decarbonisation and recycling.
Glass International Editor Greg Morris also gave a welcome speech expressing his condolences for those affected by the tragic earthquake in eastern Turkey, which had taken place two days before the event. See link below to donate to the British Red Cross Turkey-Syria Appeal.
The afternoon of Day 1 focused on advancing the glass manufacturing sector. Presentation topics included sustainability, digitalisation, and hollow glass from companies such as The Sorg Group, Krysteline Technologies, and Vertech'.
Day 2 of the conference was dedicated to energy savings from glass furnaces in collaboration with Furnaces International. Companies including F.I.C. UK, Toledo Engineering Co (TECO), and Ametek Land provided sessions on decarbonisation, energy, and digitalisation.
