Italy’s Glass Service has designed, manufactured and installed oxygen/gas combustion plants for one of the world’s largest container glass manufacturer.
Its plants have been installed in Italy (furnace pull 220 tons/day), UK (furnace-pull 410 tons/day) and Estonia (furnace-pull 270 tons/day) and has had positive results: low consumption, excellent glass quality and zero maintenance.
The combustion system manages the gas/oxygen flow and combustion ratio for each burner. The skid is in compliance with the ATEX, PED, SIL2 standards as required by the actual European safety standard.
Glass Service’s key point is it manufactures all the equipment in its workshop. This allows it to upgrade or modify each equipment during the construction phase according to customers’ needs.
