GPD Finland 2019 has now published 180 abstracts online. The conference will be held at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Center (TESC) on 25-28th June 2019 in Tampere, Finland.
The Glass Performance Days (GPD) conference has seen a record number of abstracts. In combination with the workshops, there will be 230 expert presentations.
Jorma Vitkala, Chairman of the GPD Organising Committee, said: “Making the information public this early, well before the conference, enables participants to plan their attendance and set their priorities.”
The final programme of the conference and scheduling times are nearly completed and will be distributed soon.
Mr Vitkala added: “The specifics for dates and times will be released shortly and so will the selection of the 20 workshops that are part of the GPD 2019.”
The flexible format of the conference allows the arrangement of seven daily parallel sessions. The venue is also known as the Pirkka halli Exhibition Center.
Mr Vitkala concluded: “We owe special thanks to all who have submitted abstracts, the technical level of which we consider to be very high. Participants are well advised to make arrangements for travel and accommodation soon to secure quality bookings.”
All sessions are within easy reach and organised around the exhibition module at the centre of the arena.
