AFGM hosts record-attending conference

Delegates at the 46th ASEAN Glass Conference in Bali, Indonesia.

A total of 357 delegates attended the 46^th ASEAN Glass Conference in Bali, Indonesia this year.

Delegates came from 28 countries to the annual event, which was hosted by the ASEAN Federation of Glass Manufacturers (AFGM).

Harris Hendraka, Chairman of the AFGM Organising Committee, said: “This was one of the highest attendance of all time for the AFGM Conference.

“We are happy to see that all the stakeholders in the glass industry are committed to making the industry more sustainable through a circular economy and alternative energy.”

Speakers included Sudha Jebadurai, President of Agr International, Ulrich Imhof, Executive Director Container/Special for Horn Glass, Fabiano Rodrigues, Cruciforms Business Manager at Sefpro, and Gianluca Cera, Energy, Melting & Automation Manager at BDF Industries.

The event provided insights into challenges and solutions the container glass industry is currently facing.
