Asahi Glass Company (AGC) has announced that it will set up a new production site for pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates and active ingredients at its subsidiary, AGC Wakasa Chemicals, Japan.
The company will invest 3.7 billion yen into the new plant, which is scheduled to start operation in November 2012. It is hoped this will double the current production capacity, as well as contributing to the AGC Group’s aim of achieving net sales of 15 billion yen in 2014.
