The presentation abstracts for the 19th Furnace Solutions Conference are now available.
The event will take place on 4th and 5th June at the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens, UK.
It will include presentations from glass produces, industry experts and suppliers from companies including Şişecam, O-I and NSG.
The papers will highlight important issues and opportunities for the glass industry, as well as showcasing best practices and technologies.

There will also be a tour of Glass Futures’ Global Centre of Excellence, which will have its furnace up and running by the time of the conference.
There is also a training session on 3rd June at the World of Glass Museum.
In the session, glass industry consultant Neil Simpson will give a talk on the use of oxygen in glass furnaces.
This will be followed by the Mellor Memorial Lecture, ‘Electricity in Glass Production’, given by Andy Reynolds, Business Development Director at Fives.
The training is free for those who have registered for the conference and the Mellor Memorial Lecture is a free event.
The Geoff Evans Dinner will also take place on the Wednesday evening.
