Ametek Land is celebrating 70 years of being at the forefront of temperature measurement technology.
The company said it was using its 70th anniversary year to build on its reputation for providing accurate temperature measurement solutions and was investing in and creating new products that customers value.
Justin Smith, Ametek Land Managing Director, said: “Our vision during this, our 70th anniversary year, is to develop products that are geared not only to our current core business sectors in heavy processing industries, but also to the next generation of manufacturing.
“Those products will be affordable as well as help industries, such as glass, metals, industrial gas and power, to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive world.
2017 already has proven to be an exciting year for the company as it has introduced its next generation of near infrared (NIR-B) borescopes into the glass market.
It expects to see growth in the market in its thermal imaging technology, which will help deliver better energy management and conservation, and improve efficiencies.
