Ardagh Group, Glass – North America has launched its Ardagh Direct programme, which provides wineries of all sizes located West of the Rocky Mountains the option to purchase glass wine bottles directly from the manufacturer.
With a dedicated sales team, wineries can purchase from the manufacturer’s range of premium wine bottles in a variety of sizes, colours and styles, and have the flexibility to order less than truckload (LTL) quantities.
"Ardagh Group values the collaborative partnerships it has with the North American wineries," said Alex Robertson, Chief Commercial Officer for Ardagh Group's North American Glass division.
"The new Ardagh Direct team has the knowledge and resources to work alongside customers to evaluate their needs and share our knowledge of the wine industry, while offering a product line that is relevant to the marketplace."
With a wine-industry history that spans more than 125 years, Ardagh North America is the largest producer of glass wine bottles made completely in the U.S.
Ardagh produces glass wine bottles from its three facilities in the heart of the major wine-producing areas in the country: California, the Pacific Northwest and the New York State area.
Ardagh Group's one-million-square-foot distribution facility in California is the largest repack centre in the region, and is designed to meet all of the bottling and distribution needs of West Coast wineries.
