Asahi Glass Co (AGC) has announced that it will release Attoch, an eco-glass product that can be utilised in energy-saving window renovations of office buildings and stores, in October 2012.

AGC said Attoch offers a reduction of 30% in the annual energy use for air-conditioning. The product converts an existing windowpane into eco-glass simply by applying low-E glass to the inside of the window.

According to the company, Attoch will significantly improve the energy-saving performance of office buildings, in which installing replacement eco-glass products has been difficult.
