BA Glass has completed contracts to acquire the entire glass packaging businesses of Yioula Glass in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria.
This agreement excludes Yioula’s Ukranian plants and glassware operation.
The businesses included in the deal correspond to an annual capacity close to 550,000 tonnes, produced in seven tanks and four plants (Athens, Sofia, Plovdiv and Bucharest), with estimated sales in 2016 in excess of €200 million and 1400 employees.
Once the deal is completed BA Glass will have 12 plants in seven countries, with an annual capacity of two million tons, consolidated sales of €800 million and 3800 employees.
