BDF Industries has been chosen to design, supply and commission a 270tpd regenerative furnace and equipment for a new glass plant in Angola.
German filling-line company, Krones, chose BDF as its supplier for the greenfield glass plant, which will produce beer bottles.
The project will be designed, supplied and commissioned by the BDF team during the next 24 months as a Turn Key Project.
The order requires a batch plant ready for further expansion; a 200tpd regenerative furnace that could possibly increase up to 270tpd; two 12-section IS forming machines with the option of adding a third line; and a complete cold end with inspection equipment, integrated automation control systems, utilities and complete networks installation.
BDF has already supplied the Nigerian, Ethiopian and Magreb regions. It said the order confirms its strong presence in the African market and its long-term view in terms of service and support to glass plants and new customers.
