UK manufacturer Beatson Clark was named British Glass Company of the Year at last night's Glass Focus awards.

The event, organised by British Glass, brought together businesses from across the supply chain to celebrate the sector’s achievements, innovations and contributions of the past year.

Beatson Clark was the stand out winner, with its Human Resource Advisor Charlotte Lax, securing the Rising Star Award. The company also took home the Marketing Impact award.

In addition, a Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Steve Clayton from Stoelzle Flaconnage, honouring decades of dedicated service to the glass community.

Other winners on the night included Saint-Gobain Glass UK, Ardagh Glass Packaging Europe, Guardian Glass UK, Encirc and Fire Camera, recognising their contribution to the sector.

The evening also highlighted those backing the industry. Sarah Champion MP received the Glass Ambassador Award for her continued advocacy in Parliament.

Finally, Glass Champion Awards celebrated brands committed to sustainable glass packaging, with accolades going to Belu, Gü Puddings, UpCircle Beauty, UNROOTED Drinks, and York Gin.

From the judging panel, Martyn Marshall, Principal technologist and melting lead at Glass Technology Services said: “This year’s winners showcase the very best of innovation, sustainability, and leadership in the glass industry.

"From premium packaging that proves design can be both beautiful and eco-conscious, to flat glass solutions setting new standards for circular construction.

"Each project demonstrates measurable impact and forward-thinking creativity.”
