British Glass has appointed its leadership following its separation from Glass Technology Services (GTS).
The organisation is now an independent trade federation representing the interests of the UK glass industry.
British Glass has retained ownership of GTS although the two now operate independently.
Dr Nick Kirk has been confirmed as Executive Director of British Glass.
In addition, Victoria Adams was appointed Public Affairs and Communications Director, Paul Pearcy has been appointed Energy and Industry Director, and Jenni Richards has been appointed Environment and Circularity Director.
The British Glass Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 14 July also confirmed reappointments to the organisation’s board.
Dean Butler was confirmed as President until 31 December 2027.
The Board thanked Dean for his role in reshaping the organisation.
Furthermore, the following directors were appointed:

- Vincent Godfrey, Ardagh
- Nicholas Kirk, British Glass
- Sean Murphy, Encirc
- Allen Norris, Chair
- Stephen Severs, Saint-Gobain
Dr Nick Kirk said: “As an independent organisation, British Glass is well placed to continue delivering for its members and representing the interests of the UK glass industry.
“With a strong leadership team, experienced board in place and wider dedicated British Glass team, we look forward to building on our work to support the sector's growth, sustainability ambitions and long-term success.”
