The UK Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has launched a survey on a potential new duty on glass container imports from China and Türkiye.
The TRA is inviting businesses and consumers to share their views as part of its official investigations into these imports.
The survey is open to anyone who has an interest in glass containers, including consumers who purchase products packaged in glass; businesses that import, distribute, or sell glass containers; and retailers and trade associations with knowledge of the glass container market.
The investigations cover the majority of glass containers under 2.5 litres, including a range of everyday products such as bottles, jars, and other receptacles used for the conveyance or packing of goods.
The TRA's investigation is evidence-led and impartial.
Survey responses from businesses and consumers across the supply chain will help ensure the investigation reflects a broad range of perspectives and experiences.
All responses will be treated in accordance with data protection legislation.
