The German Society of Glass Technology (DGG) has issued a call for papers for its 98th Glass-Technology Conference.

The annual conference serves as a forum for professionals, researchers, developers, and emerging experts in the glass science and technology community.

It offers a platform to exchange insights, spark discussions, and drive innovation in the glass industry.

The DGG has issued a call for papers for the event, which will take place from 26 to 28 May 2025 in Goslar, Germany.

The submission deadline for abstracts is 20 December 2024, which can be submitted here.

Submissions are welcomed for the following sessions:

  • Session 1: Relaxation, Glass Transition, and Structure of Glasses
  • Session 2: Volume and Surface Properties of Glasses and their Characterisation
  • Session 3: Glass Applications and Application related Challenges
  • Session 4: Computer Simulations, AI, and Machine Learning in Glass Research and Production
  • Session 5: Industrial Glass Melting, Recycling and Raw Materials*
  • Session 6: Glass Forming, Post-Processing and Quality Control*
  • Session 7: Additive Manufacturing and New Processing Techniques of Glasses*
