CelSian’s Glass Melting Technologies training course will take place this March.
The introductory course will take place over four half days from 3 - 6 March 2025, both online and in-person in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
The course will take place from 14:00–18:00 (CET) on each day.
It is aimed at junior to skilled professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge.
The programme will provide an in-depth introduction to the essential process involved in converting raw materials into a glass melt ready for forming.
By the end of the course, attendees will have a thorough understanding of the main challenges and technologies in glass production, as well as how they are related to raw materials, furnace design, and process settings.
Course presenters include Corinne Claireaux, Sjoerd Stelwagen, Neil Simpson, and, for the first time, Jeff Watts.
Mr Watts has 18 years of experience as Head of Furnace Operations at O-I, and previous roles at Anchor Hocking and PPG.
