The registration for CelSian’s training courses on refractories and electric melting will end on the 15th April.
CelSian has revived its course on electric glass melting and created a new course on refractory selection. Both courses are at an introductory level and have been made to suit American times zones (EST).
A course titled ‘Electric systems for glass melting’ will take place on April 25 – 29 over four half days from 14:00 to 17:30 (EST). The training will examine the transition towards electric systems and its environmental benefits, with a focus on the supply and hardware of electricity. Half the spots are already booked. Full details can be found here.
A new refractories course was created based on high volume of alumni requests. The course, titled ‘Refractory selection maintenance and related defects’, will take place on May 9 – 12 over four mornings (EST). The course will explore how to select refractories and what to look for during this process, as well as the science behind making the correct choices. Full details can be found here.
Deadline for both training courses is the 15th April 2022. Both courses can also be attended in person in Eindhoven, Netherlands or online.
