The organiser of China Glass 2020 has confirmed that the show due to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on 14th – 17th April 2020 will be postponed to a later date.
It has released the following statement:
Dear Exhibitors and Visitors
In response to the needs for pneumonia epidemic control of novel coronavirus infection, Shanghai Municipal Peoples Government has initiated the first level response mechanism for major public health emergencies.
In accordance with the requirements of the Notice of Shanghai Municipal
Committee of the Communist Partγ Of China and Shanghai Municipal People‘s Government on Further Strengthening the Prevention and Control of Pneumonia Epidemic Situation of Novel Corona Virus infection, during the epidemic prevention and control period, people’s gathering activities should be minimised, and various large scale public activities should be cancelled.
In order to effectively protect the physical health of exhibitors and visitors and ensure the exhibition effectiveness and economic benefit of domestic and overseas exhibitors and visitors, the 31st China International Glass industrial Technical Exhibition (China Glass 2020), originally scheduled to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on April 14th – 17th 2020 will be postponed.
We will pay close attention to the development of the epidemic situation, maintain communication and negotiation with the exhibition centre and relevant government departments.
A specific adjustment plan after the postponement will be notified separately.
