Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) will provide a keynote presentation at the Renewable Glass Manufacturing conference.

In a paper titled CCEP and the glass industry: Reducing our carbon impact, Charles Richardson, Director Procurement – Metal, Glass & OPP (above), will discuss the progress CCEP has made to reduce its carbon footprint to date.

He will highlight the more significant challenge in front of it in order to achieve the targets announced 12 months ago in its Action On Climate programme.

Charles will also give his view on both the challenges and opportunities that face the glass industry, ahead of COP26 next month.

Other speakers include Wiegand-Glas, Encirc, Pilkington and Steklarna Hrastnik, which will provide a paper titled 'Carbon neutral glass production today'.

In it, presenter Tilen Sever, will present the process of manufacturing its most sustainable glass bottles and future options for upscaling the carbon neutral production.
