Specialty glassmaker Corning has announced the appointment of Richard Clark, the recently retired Chairman and former CEO of pharmaceutical company Merck & Co. to its board.??
Mr Clark will be on the board’s audit and compensation committees, according to the company. At the company’s annual shareholder meeting in April 2012 he will be up for election for a one-year term.?? With the addition of Mr Clark, Corning’s board has 14 members.
