Crystal glass manufacturer Zwiesel Kristallglas celebrated 140 years in business in February with a special ‘Dinner for Friends’ at its Zwiesel, Germany headquarters.

In 1872, haulier and entrepreneur Anton Müller founded the Annathal glassworks and thus laid the foundations for the worldwide crystal manufacturer that exists today. Zwiesel Kristallglas is currently active in 120 countries and employs a workforce of 895.

In the financial year 2010/11, the group increased its turnover by 12% over the previous year, to reach €86 million.
