The dates for the 19th Furnace Solutions conference have been confirmed.
The event will take place on June 4th and 5th at the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens, UK.
The two-day conference, focused on ‘The Road to Sustainability’, will include a tour of Glass Futures' facilities.
The event, which attracts attendees from around the world, will highlight issues and opportunities for the glass industry, as well as showcasing the best practices and technologies.
There will also be a training session at the World of Glass Museum on June 3rd.
At the session, glass industry consultant Neil Simpson will give a talk on the use of oxygen in glass furnaces.
This will be followed by the Mellor Memorial Lecture, ‘Electricity in Glass Production’, given by Andy Reynolds, Business Development Director at Fives.
The training session is free for those booked to attend the conference.
